Natural Cacao Powder
Bar au Chocolat has created a collection of cacao and chocolate ingredients for industry professionals and home chefs.
Our natural cacao powder is made from single origin cacao cultivated in Duarte, a northern province in the Dominican Republic, on the island of Hispaniola. The cacao beans are roasted and pressed to extract the butter, and then ground to a soft, sandy-textured powder. Our powder is not as fine as store-bought. We have had great success using it to create our house fudge brownies, chocolate cake, and Mayan bars.
