How small and interconnected is our world! In the depths of the Kilombero Valley, in the Morogoro Region of Tanzania, there is a village called Mbingu, which translates to ‘heaven’ from the Kiswahili language. The cacao cultivated in Mbingu arrives to our studio in Manhattan Beach, as if from heaven indeed. From beautiful Vermont, pure maple sugar also makes its way to us. The result: a vegan chocolate which exemplifies unity, goodwill, and the joy of good taste.
